EXTENSIVE USER RESEARCH AND USERFLOWS

ProvantageX (PVX) was a data heavy, feature rich software meant to connect buyers and sellers of commercial timeslots. It involved many different types of users and complicated back and forth flows of approval between everyone involved. The users need to see multiple tables of data onscreen at once with multiple actions available. A major challenge for any designer.

COMPLEX WIREFRAMES

I specifically used the software Axure to design wireframes for PVX. Axure could handle the amount of data tables and features without needing a developer to show how the program could truly work and feel. Scrollable/Collapsible tables, dropdowns, sorting/filtering, editing fields. I could execute all that was needed to make a realistic demo for the users to test and acquire their feedback. PVX was floored at the amount of functional designs that I produced.

FINALIZED MOCKUPS FOR SALES PITCHES

After many back and forth sessions with internal PVX teams, a flow of clickable colored mockups were created to entice potential clients with future features that were yet to be developed. Using Sketch and Invision, these mockups helped acquire clients and keep the company going.

RESULTS

PVX internal teams were amazed at the amount of work I could produce and the sheer speed of my process. Clickable prototypes and multipage layouts were something they simply haven’t seen before and it sped up the feature building process for the company, which meant sales pitches could happen faster. Clients gradually signed onboard.
